Humana•Norristown, PA
•$31,800 - $123,800•Remote

About The Position

Humana is seeking a field-based Medicare Sales Agent to serve the local Montgomery territory. The agent joins a collaborative team of 8–12 Medicare Sales Agents and reports to the Senior Manager, MarketPoint Sales, working under the guidance of a Senior Manager and Regional Director. The role focuses on educating individuals about Humana Medicare Advantage plans and related Life, Dental, Vision, and Prescription coverage; building community relationships; and growing sales through personalized service. The position involves face-to-face interactions in prospective members’ homes and at community events, grassroots marketing, and self-generated sales. Agents use company-issued iPads and digital platforms for consultations, enrollments, documentation, CRM updates, and follow-up. The role is described as remote with field-based community work; occasional travel to Humana offices for training or meetings may be required. Members’ appointments and events may occur at night or on weekends, so schedule flexibility is essential. The first five weeks of employment and attendance at training are mandatory. During the licensing program, Humana pays for insurance training and licensing fees and provides virtual and in-market training. A base salary and monthly guarantee are provided during the training program. Compensation for full-time employment includes base pay and targeted commission, with a stated annual range of $31,800–$123,800.

  • Demonstrate the ability to use an iPad, mobile applications, and web-based systems in a customer-facing environment.
  • Be comfortable navigating multiple technology platforms simultaneously, including enrollment tools, CRM systems, email, and virtual communication tools.
  • Attend the first five weeks of employment and training.
  • Maintain a dedicated home-work space without ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information if working from home or a hybrid home/office arrangement.
