About The Position

Humana is seeking accomplished Medicare Field Sales Agents for its MarketPoint Career Channel Team. This field-based role serves a designated local territory, and the agent must live there to support the community. The agent works as part of a collaborative team of 8–12 agents under the guidance of a Senior Manager and Regional Director. The role focuses on delivering strong service, differentiating Humana through personalized community engagement, and growing the company’s presence in the market. The agent educates individuals about Humana Medicare Advantage plans and additional offerings, including Life, Dental, Vision, and Prescription coverage. The position involves face-to-face interactions through grassroots marketing, community events, and in-home visits, as well as self-generated sales and relationship-building. Agents use company-issued iPads and multiple digital platforms to support consultations, enrollments, documentation, CRM updates, and follow-up. Humana provides insurance training, licensing fees, virtual and in-market training, and a base salary and monthly guarantee during the training program. The first five weeks of employment and attendance are mandatory. The role is remote with field-based community work; occasional travel to Humana offices for training or meetings may be required. Appointments and events may occur at night and on weekends, so schedule flexibility is essential. Weekly hours are 40. Compensation is a base salary plus targeted commission, with a stated range of $31,800–$123,800 per year. Home or hybrid home/office employees must have internet service with at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload, and work from a dedicated space that protects member PHI/HIPAA information from ongoing interruptions.
