About The Position

The Spa at MPS, part of Mays Plastic Surgery, is a physician-led practice in Louisville, Kentucky, offering personalized skincare, advanced aesthetic treatments, and an elevated patient experience. The Medical Spa Manager oversees daily operations, leads the team, and drives business growth while balancing luxury hospitality, patient satisfaction, team accountability, and financial performance. The manager partners with practice leadership to achieve business goals and maintain high standards. Medical aesthetics experience is preferred, but an active clinical license is not required.

Requirements

Previous management experience in a medical spa, aesthetics practice, plastic surgery office, or similar environment is preferred.
Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with sales, revenue goals, team development, and operational performance.
A professional, service-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail.
Ability to take initiative, make sound decisions, and work independently.
An active clinical license is not required.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily spa operations, staffing, scheduling, and workflow.
Lead, coach, and hold team members accountable for performance and professionalism.
Ensure patients receive an exceptional, consistent luxury experience.
Monitor revenue, expenses, provider productivity, and key performance indicators.
Drive membership growth, treatment rebooking, retail sales, and patient retention.
Manage inventory, ordering, and operational efficiency.
Support marketing initiatives, promotions, and business development.
Address patient concerns and identify opportunities to improve service.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, practice policies, and established procedures.
Partner with practice leadership to achieve business goals and maintain high standards.
