About The Position

The Medical Practice Manager oversees daily clinic operations, supports staffing and workflow efficiency, and helps deliver an exceptional patient care experience. The manager leads the team, manages financial performance, ensures compliance, and partners with providers to support patient access and practice growth. The position provides leadership and administrative oversight to practice operations and reports to the Director of Physician Services. It is based at St. Joseph Family Medical Care in Kansas City, Missouri, and is a full-time, day-shift role with an 8-hour schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Requirements

A bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Business, or a related field, or a minimum of five years of healthcare leadership or management experience.
Three years of experience in healthcare management is stated as a requirement in the posting.
Healthcare leadership or healthcare management experience in a medical group or ambulatory clinic is encouraged.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership and administrative oversight to practice operations.
Plan, develop, and organize workflows while directing the day-to-day activities of staff and practice functions.
Manage financial performance, including staffing efficiency, budget awareness, and support for revenue cycle processes.
Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians through ongoing communication and relationship development.
Promote the practice within St. Joseph Medical Group and the broader medical community.
Maintain working knowledge of clinical operations and step in to support coverage when needed within licensure guidelines.
Ensure compliance.
