NORTHERN LIGHT MAYO HOSPITAL - EM - MEDICAL DIRECTOR
About The Position
TeamHealth is seeking an Emergency Medicine Medical Director and physician to deliver safe, high-quality patient care in the emergency department at Northern Light Mayo Hospital in Dover-Foxcroft, Maine. The role includes career advancement opportunities, a medical director stipend, support from a system medical director, and dedicated administration time. The Medical Director attends departmental meetings, establishes new clinician orientation guidelines, and participates in quarterly goal progress meetings. Northern Light Mayo Hospital has an annual emergency department volume of 10,000, 25 hospital beds, and 10 ED beds. Physician and advanced practice clinician coverage is provided 24 hours per day. Diagnostic imaging and laboratory services are available. Northern Light Health is an integrated statewide healthcare system focused on delivering care throughout Maine, supporting a collaborative culture, professional growth, and community health. Estimated base compensation is $260 per hour. The position is in Dover-Foxcroft, Maine.
Requirements
- Board certification or board eligibility in emergency medicine, or in internal medicine or family medicine with emergency medicine experience.
