About The Position
Quest Diagnostics is hiring a Medical Courier in Clifton, NJ, to pick up, transport, and deliver medical specimens and laboratory materials on a scheduled route. The role supports patient care and medical diagnostics by ensuring deliveries arrive safely, accurately, and on time. Couriers communicate professionally with doctors, nurses, and laboratory staff, operate a company-provided non-CDL vehicle, and use handheld scanners, route software, and mobile apps to track deliveries. The position requires proper specimen handling, labeling, storage, and documentation, along with compliance with DOT, HIPAA, OSHA, and internal safety standards. The specified schedule is Saturday, 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM, and Sunday, 3:00 PM to 1:00 AM. Quest describes this as an independent mobile role with a predictable route. Requirements
- Valid driver's license.
- At least 3 years of driving experience.
- Provide documentation of a Motor Vehicle Record with no more than two moving violation convictions in the previous 36 months and none in the most recent 12 months.
- Great customer service and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and reliable documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and problem-solve on the road.
- Comfort using mobile devices or scanning tools.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and be on the move for much of the shift.

- Prior medical, customer service, courier, or logistics experience is strongly preferred.
