About The Position

Quest Diagnostics is hiring a Medical Courier to transport medical specimens and laboratory materials on a scheduled route in Petaluma, California. The courier serves as a representative of the company’s diagnostic services and helps ensure tests arrive safely, accurately, and on time. The role involves independent work on the road, regular communication with healthcare and laboratory staff, and careful compliance with specimen-handling and safety requirements. A company-provided non-CDL vehicle and delivery-tracking tools are used. Proof of COVID-19 vaccination is required. The listed schedule is Tuesday through Friday, 12:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., and Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with Sunday and Monday off. The posting lists pay of $22.00–$26.50 per hour. Salary offers may depend on relevant skills, training, experience, education, and applicable certifications, as well as market and organizational factors. Requirements

Valid driver’s license.
At least 3 years of driving experience.
Provide documentation of a Motor Vehicle Record with no more than two moving-violation convictions in the previous 36 months and none in the most recent 12 months.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and reliable documentation skills.
Ability to work independently and problem-solve on the road.
Comfort using mobile devices or scanning tools.
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and remain on the move for much of the shift.
Proof of COVID-19 vaccination is required.

Nice To Haves

Prior medical, customer service, courier, or logistics experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities
