About The Position

The Medical Courier works a scheduled route in Clifton, New Jersey, delivering medical specimens and laboratory materials. The role supports patient care by ensuring that diagnostic materials are transported safely, accurately, and on time. The courier communicates professionally with medical and laboratory staff, operates a company-provided non-CDL vehicle, and uses mobile tools to track deliveries and maintain documentation. The position is listed for Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 8:30 PM. The pay rate is $18.50 per hour, with a possible shift differential for some or all hours worked on second or third shift. External applicants may be eligible for a $1,500 sign-on bonus. Full-time and part-time roles are available across the U.S.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license.
• At least 3 years of driving experience.
• Provide documentation of a Motor Vehicle Record showing no more than two moving violation convictions in the previous 36 months and no moving violation convictions in the most recent 12 months.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and reliable documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and solve problems on the road.
• Comfort using mobile devices or scanning tools.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and remain active for much of the shift.

Nice To Haves

• Prior medical, customer service, courier, or logistics experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick up, transport, and deliver medical specimens and laboratory materials on a scheduled route.
• Communicate professionally with doctors, nurses, and laboratory staff to support timely deliveries.
• Safely operate a company-provided non-CDL vehicle.
• Use handheld scanners, route software, and mobile apps to track deliveries.
• Handle, label, store, and document specimens properly.
• Comply with DOT, HIPAA, OSHA, and internal safety standards.
