About The Position

Labcorp is seeking a Courier to join its team in Paintsville, Kentucky. The Courier picks up, transports, and delivers medical specimens, lab supplies, and reports while providing excellent service to clients. A company vehicle is provided for the route; the employee may elect to take the vehicle home and use it personally for $125 per month.

The work schedule is Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM, and Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.

Requirements

• No education or experience is required.
• Strong punctuality and time-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to solve customer issues.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Must be at least 21 years old.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• One year or more of driver or courier experience.
• Six months or more of customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Load all necessary supplies for daily pickups.
• Complete the daily pickup schedule in a timely manner.
• Deliver all daily pickups to the branch at the end of the shift.
• Handle specimens and lab samples safely and efficiently.
• Safely operate a company vehicle and obey all traffic laws.
• Use a handheld electronic device to manage daily pickups.
• Work directly with the dispatcher for additional pickups as needed.
• Evaluate traffic patterns, alternative routes, and weather conditions as needed.
• Pick up, transport, and deliver medical specimens, lab supplies, and reports while providing excellent service to clients.
