About The Position

Private Medical is hiring a Medical Assistant for a temporary, full-time leave-coverage assignment of up to 7–8 months, ideally beginning in November or December. The role is based in Miami Beach, off Lincoln Road, and follows a Monday–Friday schedule of 40 hours per week during traditional business hours, excluding lunch. No weekend work is required. Local travel is required for home visits. Effective January 1, 2027, staff positions will be hourly and non-exempt; the listed hourly rate is $31.25–$34.62, based on experience, with overtime eligibility under applicable law. Private Medical describes itself as a privately held, physician-led organization based in California, New York, and Florida. Its teams provide relationship-focused, evidence-based, longitudinal care in collaboration with gynecologists, naturopathic medicine doctors, local specialists, medical centers, and specialists around the world.
