APPS of Georgia is seeking medical professionals to perform insurance examinations for applicants for life, health, or disability insurance. Exams take place on a mobile basis in clients’ homes or offices and may include blood draws, medical histories, signatures on packets, vital signs, saliva samples, and 12-lead EKGs. Examinations typically take 15 minutes to a little over an hour, depending on requirements. Independent contractors are expected to work with minimal supervision and complete exams accurately, professionally, and in a timely manner. They must follow compliance and safety policies and handle client information with care, accuracy, and confidentiality. Appointments are scheduled by the company. Contractors set their own schedules; exams are offered seven days a week, year-round. A six-hour orientation verifies skills and introduces contractors to the paperwork and website they will use. Reimbursement is up to $25 per completed case, depending on territory, and is paid every two weeks by direct deposit. Available territories include Roswell, Alpharetta, Cumming, Metro Atlanta, North Georgia, and South Georgia, with flexible territories also available throughout Georgia.
