Medical Assistant/Patient Service Specialist (Float)
About The Position
Bookmark Medical is hiring a Medical Assistant/Patient Service Specialist to support patients and providers in a role that combines front-office patient services and clinical medical assistant duties. The position floats among the listed locations: Apache Junction, Chandler, Gilbert, Hatfield Arbor, Hatfield Chandler, Hatfield Gilbert (Baseline), Hatfield Paragon, Hatfield Red Mountain, Superstition Springs, VMW-Mesa Central, and VMW-Mesa North. The role includes greeting and checking in patients; managing calls, messages, scheduling, referrals, follow-ups, and copays; assisting with insurance verifications and prior authorizations; and updating patient information to support communication between patients and providers. Clinical duties include rooming and preparing patients, taking vitals, updating medical histories, documenting in the EHR, assisting with procedures, administering vaccines, performing point-of-care testing, and maintaining clean, stocked exam rooms while following safety protocols. Requirements
- Accredited medical assistant training or equivalent experience.
- Medical assistant certification, or willingness to obtain certification; the company will reimburse certification.
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

- At least one year of healthcare experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
