About The Position

The Patient Service Specialist manages both the patient-facing and business operations of an outpatient physical therapy center. The role helps create an exceptional patient experience, beginning at the front desk, and provides patients with information before, during, and after their visits. This is a full-time floating position based at New Ballas, with assignments across specified counties in Missouri and Illinois. The schedule is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with flexibility required between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Compensation is $19 per hour, with increases based on experience. Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Flexibility to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.
Ability to float among the specified locations in Missouri and Illinois.

Responsibilities

Greet and register patients and explain what to expect during their visit.
Provide patients with information about their next appointment at checkout.
Schedule patient appointments in person and by phone.
Communicate regularly with insurance companies, translation companies, market operational leaders, and the business development team.
Collect patient co-pays.
Manage payer approvals and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications.
