About The Position

The Medical Assistant III (MA) maintains a highly professional environment and a collaborative relationship with patients and physicians. The MA also handles pre-authorization and serves as a liaison between providers and patients. The MA provides staff and patients with updates on timing and status when tasks may affect health, testing, or treatment options, and supports even patient flow and ongoing communication within Hoag and with referring physician offices.
