About The Position

The Med Tech assists residents in a senior living community with personal care and medication administration. The role supports residents’ daily needs, communicates with healthcare staff, department personnel, families, and support personnel, and maintains required records. Medication-related duties must follow company protocol and state regulations. This is a full-time position at Pioneer Village in Jacksonville, Oregon, with no travel required and any shift.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have good organizational abilities and communication skills.
• Be independent, energetic, creative, and pleasant in approach.
• Be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with cleaning, bathing, dressing, eating, and personal hygiene.
• Communicate with healthcare staff and department personnel, relay information about residents’ conditions, and maintain required written records and documentation.
• Maintain communication with residents, their families, and support personnel to help ensure residents’ needs are continually met.
• Assist residents with medication administration according to company protocol and state regulations.
• Maintain each resident’s MARs/TARs regarding medicines ordered, received, and administered.
