About The Position
The Med Tech assists senior residents with daily living and personal care, including cleaning, bathing, dressing, eating, and personal hygiene. The role supports residents’ care by communicating with healthcare staff, department personnel, residents, families, and support personnel, and by maintaining required written records. The Med Tech assists with medication administration in accordance with company protocol and state regulations and maintains medication administration and treatment records (MARs/TARs). The position is located at Bozeman Lodge in Bozeman, Montana, and is listed as full-time/part-time with any shift and no travel.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Good organizational abilities and communication skills.
- Able to work independently; energetic, creative, and pleasant in approach.
- Able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Compassionate, patient, and kind, with a heart for working with senior adults.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with cleaning, bathing, dressing, eating, and personal hygiene.
- Communicate with healthcare staff and department personnel, relay information about residents’ conditions, and maintain required written records and documentation.
- Maintain communication with residents, their families, and support personnel to help ensure residents’ needs are continually met.
- Assist residents with medication administration according to company protocol and state regulations.
- Maintain MARs/TARs for each resident regarding medicines ordered, received, and administered.
