About The Position

The Med Tech supports residents at Emerald Gardens in Woodburn, Oregon, as part of a care-centered team serving seniors. The role includes assisting residents with personal care, communicating with healthcare staff and residents’ families, and supporting medication administration in accordance with company protocol and state regulations. The position also maintains medication records and other required documentation.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Good organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently; energetic, creative, and pleasant approach.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Compassionate, patient, and kind, with an interest in working with senior adults.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with cleaning, bathing, dressing, eating, and personal hygiene.
Communicate with healthcare staff and department personnel, relay information concerning residents’ conditions, and maintain required written records and documentation.
Communicate with residents, their families, and support personnel to help ensure residents’ needs are continually met.
Assist residents with medication administration according to company protocol and state regulations.
Maintain each resident’s MARs/TARs for medicines ordered, received, and administered.
