About The Position

The Caregiver assists residents in an assisted living and memory care community with daily personal care and hygiene. The role includes communicating with healthcare staff, department personnel, residents, families, and support personnel to help ensure residents’ needs are continually met. Caregivers maintain written records and documentation as required. Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Compassionate, patient, and kind, with a heart for working with senior adults.
• Positive attitude and desire to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with cleaning, bathing, dressing, eating, personal care, and hygiene.
• Communicate with healthcare staff and department personnel about residents’ conditions.
• Maintain written records and documentation as required.
• Communicate with residents, their families, and support personnel to help ensure residents’ needs are continually met.
