About The Position
The Caregiver supports residents in an assisted living and memory care community by providing personal care and helping meet residents’ ongoing needs. The role includes assisting with daily activities, communicating with residents, families, support personnel, and healthcare staff, and maintaining required records. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Be compassionate, patient, and kind, with a heart for working with senior adults.
- Have a positive attitude and a desire to learn and grow.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with cleaning, bathing, dressing, eating, personal care, and hygiene.
- Communicate with healthcare staff and department personnel about residents’ conditions.
- Maintain written records and documentation as required.
- Communicate with residents, their families, and support personnel to help ensure residents’ needs are continually met.
