About The Position

The Med Tech assists residents in a senior living community with daily personal care and medication administration. The role supports residents’ ongoing needs through communication with healthcare staff, department personnel, families, and other support personnel, and by maintaining required written documentation and medication records. Medication assistance must follow company protocol and state regulations.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Good organizational abilities and communication skills.
Able to work independently; energetic and creative, with a pleasant approach.
Able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Compassionate, patient, and kind, with a heart for working with senior adults.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with cleaning, bathing, dressing, eating, and personal hygiene.
Communicate with healthcare staff and department personnel, relay information about residents’ conditions, and maintain required written records and documentation.
Maintain communication with residents, their families, and support personnel to help ensure residents’ needs are continually met.
Assist residents with medication administration according to company protocol and state regulations.
Maintain each resident’s MARs/TARs regarding medicines ordered, received, and administered.
