AECOM is seeking a Mechanical BIM (Digital Design) Specialist to support mechanical engineering design and documentation through the development and coordination of Building Information Models (BIM) and construction drawings. The role requires strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit, mechanical drafting, and shop drawing development, and the ability to translate engineering markups and redlines into accurate, coordinated construction documents. The specialist works independently under the direction of mechanical engineers and collaborates with multidisciplinary project teams to support project delivery. The position is primarily remote and may be based in a variety of U.S. locations where AECOM has an office. Occasional, advance-scheduled travel may be required for client meetings, key project milestones, onsite collaboration, or other business-critical activities. The role supports fast-paced, high-profile data center projects for global clients, is hands-on and client-facing, and offers an opportunity for upward career mobility. Relocation is not available, and U.S. employment sponsorship is unavailable now or in the future. AECOM requires newly hired employees to attend in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office.
