Electrical BIM Specialist, Data Centers - Remote (U.S.)

AECOM•Arlington, VA
•$75,000 - $110,000•Remote

About The Position

AECOM is seeking an Electrical BIM (Digital Design) Specialist to support electrical engineering design and documentation by developing and coordinating Building Information Models (BIM) and construction drawings. The role requires proficiency in Autodesk Revit, electrical drafting, and shop drawing development, including translating engineering markups and redlines into accurate, coordinated construction documents. The specialist works independently under the direction of electrical engineers and collaborates with multidisciplinary project teams. This is a primarily remote position that may be based from a variety of U.S. locations where AECOM has an office. Occasional, advance-scheduled travel may be required for client meetings, key project milestones, onsite collaboration, or other business-critical activities. The role supports high-profile, fast-paced data center projects for global clients and is hands-on and client-facing, with an opportunity for upward career mobility. AECOM requires newly hired employees to attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office. Relocation and U.S. employment authorization sponsorship are not available.
