AECOM is seeking a Mechanical BIM (Digital Design) Specialist to support mechanical engineering design and documentation through the development and coordination of Building Information Models (BIM) and construction drawings. The role requires proficiency in Autodesk Revit, mechanical drafting, and shop drawing development, including translating engineering markups and redlines into accurate, coordinated construction documents. The specialist works independently under the direction of mechanical engineers and collaborates with multidisciplinary project teams. The position offers a primarily remote work schedule and can be based from a variety of U.S. locations where AECOM has an office. Occasional, advance-scheduled travel may be required for client meetings, project milestones, onsite collaboration, or other business-critical activities. The specialist will support high-profile, fast-paced data center projects for global clients in a hands-on, client-facing role, with opportunities for upward career mobility. AECOM intends to fill this current vacancy by February 1, 2027. Relocation and sponsorship for U.S. employment authorization are not available. Newly hired employees must attend in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office.
