About The Position

Lunds & Byerlys Navarre is hiring a full-time Meat & Seafood Assistant Manager to help create a positive shopping experience for customers. The position pays $20.50–$29.13 per hour. The store operates seven days a week from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.; this employee is scheduled for shifts ranging from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. The role combines customer service, team support, product merchandising, department financial performance, and cleanliness. The successful candidate is a collaborative, respectful, innovative, and hospitable team member who can respond to changing priorities and support employees and customers. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Food safety certification.
At least two years of work experience in Meat & Seafood leadership.
Service-oriented, high-energy approach and a friendly demeanor.
Completion of L&B Meat and Seafood training, or ability to complete it.
Product knowledge.
Comprehension of financial concepts.
Understanding of retail operations.
Computer skills, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Strong customer service, interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Sound judgment and decision-making abilities.
Ability to respond to changing priorities and coordinate multiple projects.
Ability to work closely with internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist customers.
Assist with supervising, coaching, mentoring, and training employees.
Merchandise products.
Assist with analyzing financials and ensuring the department meets financial goals.
Maintain department cleanliness.
Comply with USDA, FDA, OSHA, and other regulatory agency requirements.
