About The Position

The Meat Packer boxes and scans orders and assists machine operators in running machines and orders through the machine properly in an apprentice-type capacity. The position is performed in refrigerated processing and warehouse areas that are cold and wet, with regular exposure to moving machinery and sharp surfaces. Heavy lifting is required, and standing, walking, and reaching are regular activities. The role also requires the use of processing and material-handling equipment and the ability to smell to detect wholesomeness and spoilage.
