About The Position

The Meat Packer boxes and scans products and assists machine operators with properly running machines and processing orders, in an apprentice-type role. The position works in refrigerated processing and warehouse areas that are cold and wet, with regular exposure to moving machinery and sharp surfaces. Heavy lifting is required, and standing, walking, reaching, and operating processing and material-handling equipment are regular parts of the work. The role also requires the ability to smell products to detect wholesomeness and spoilage. Responsibilities

Box and scan products.
Assist machine operators in running machines and orders through the machines properly.
