About The Position

Nob Hill is hiring a Meat Cutter Team Member to assist with day-to-day operations in the Meat department. The role is suited to someone with a passion for food, strong attention to detail, and the ability to deliver excellent customer service. The Meat Cutter supports department operations, merchandising, quality control, food safety, and sales while helping create a positive customer experience. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Be friendly and customer-service oriented.
Be self-motivated, with strong attention to detail, quality, and presentation.

Read, understand, and follow verbal and written directions.
Reliably meet the required work schedule and follow the company attendance policy.
Able to perform physical demands that may include extended periods of standing, sitting, lifting and stocking up to 50 pounds, pushing, keyboarding, telephone use, walking, and bending.

Responsibilities

Cut and trim meat to company standards for retail sale.
Interact with customers and share food knowledge with customers and Team Members.
Follow Food Safety, Safety, and Sanitation policies.
Support day-to-day department operations, merchandising, and quality control of department offerings.
Drive department sales while managing shrink and expenses.
Perform other tasks as assigned.
