About The Position

Raley's is hiring a fearless, inspiring Meat Cutter Team Member with a passion for food to assist with day-to-day operations in the Meat department. The role requires strong job skills, results orientation, attention to detail, knowledge of retail best practices, and a focus on food safety and sanitation. The Meat Cutter also provides excellent customer service and supports department operations. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Friendly and customer-service oriented.
Self-motivated, with strong attention to detail, quality, and presentation.
Able to communicate effectively with coworkers and customers.
Able to work independently, manage time effectively, and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Able to read, understand, and follow verbal and written directions.
Able to reliably meet the required work schedule and adhere to the company attendance policy.
Able to perform occasional extended physical activities including standing, sitting, lifting and stocking up to 50 lbs., pushing, keyboarding, telephone use, walking, and bending.

Responsibilities

Cut and trim meat to company standards for retail sale.
Interact with customers and share food knowledge with customers and Team Members.
Follow Food Safety, Safety, and Sanitation policies.
Support day-to-day department operations, merchandising, and quality control of department offerings.
Drive department sales while managing department shrink and expenses.
Perform other assigned tasks.
