About The Position

The Markets Support Analyst provides operational support for securities, loans, exchange-traded derivatives, and over-the-counter derivatives across multiple lines of business throughout the trade lifecycle. The role handles trading and operational activities before deadlines, maintains internal systems, and supports internal partners, while maintaining accuracy in customer and data handling to comply with regulations and policies. The US / LATAM dividend analyst performs processing, reconciliation, and problem-solving for US / LATAM markets. The analyst processes dividend payments to Global Wealth Investment Management and Hedge Funds clients for stocks incorporated in the US / LATAM region. Payments may require foreign currency exchange orders based on client entitlements. The role also performs daily payment-date-plus-one stock and cash reconciliations, balancing processing ledgers and resolving breaks promptly. It requires strong attention to detail, time management, communication, and the ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure as part of a team.

Requirements

1–3 years of dividends or corporate actions experience.
1–3 years of payment processing experience.
Familiarity with foreign exchange conversions.
Strong attention to detail and time-management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines for elections, expiring events, and pay dates.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure in a team environment.
Self-motivated and able to work with little or no supervision after a period of time.
Ability to manage time and recognize when to escalate issues.

Responsibilities

Process US / LATAM market dividend payments for Global Wealth Investment Management and Hedge Funds clients.
Ensure payments received from custodians are released to underlying clients on the pay date.
Process foreign currency exchange orders when required by client entitlements.
Perform daily payment-date-plus-one stock and cash reconciliations, balance processing ledgers, and resolve breaks promptly.
Set up and maintain core client, account, instrument, and agreement data, and oversee data quality in key data platforms.
Ensure transactions are completed accurately and on time.
Provide operational support for activities across the trade lifecycle, including trade processing, settlement, accounting and reconciliation, lifecycle events, and collateral management.
Monitor client trading activity across multiple markets and service client needs.
Complete clearing and settlement of trades with internal and external counterparties, including reconciliation management and governance of trade fails and breaks.
Perform tasks accurately during high-volume periods in a team environment.
Identify and flag potential risks in a timely manner.
Communicate with internal and external stakeholders and escalate issues when appropriate.
