About The Position

At Bank of America, the Markets Support Analyst provides operational support for securities, loans, exchange-traded derivatives, and over-the-counter derivatives across multiple lines of business throughout the trade lifecycle. The role involves completing trading and operational activities before deadlines, maintaining internal systems, supporting internal partners, and ensuring accuracy of customer and data records in compliance with regulations and policies. In the AMRS US/LATAM dividend processing function, the analyst handles dividend payments for Global Wealth Investment Management and Hedge Funds clients when the stock is incorporated in the US or LATAM. The role includes processing and reconciling payments, arranging foreign currency exchange orders when needed, and performing daily payment-date-plus-one stock and cash reconciliations. The analyst ensures payments received from custodians are released to clients on the payment date and resolves processing breaks promptly. The work combines daily processing with country-specific problem-solving and requires attention to detail, time management, communication, and the ability to work under pressure in a team.

Requirements

1–3 years of dividends or corporate actions experience.
1–3 years of payment processing experience.
Familiarity with foreign exchange conversions.
Presentable, confident, and line-of-business/client focused.
Ability to work under pressure in a team environment.
Self-motivated and able to work with little or no supervision after a period of time.
Ability to manage time and know when to escalate issues.
Ability to collaborate with the team on projects and stretch assignments.
Intellectual curiosity and demonstrated problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and time management, including meeting deadlines for elections, expiring events, and payment dates.

Responsibilities

Process US/LATAM market dividend payments for Global Wealth Investment Management and Hedge Funds clients.
Ensure payments received from custodians are released to underlying clients on the payment date.
Arrange foreign currency exchange orders when required by client entitlements.
Perform daily payment-date-plus-one stock and cash reconciliations, keep processing ledgers in balance, and resolve breaks promptly.
Set up and maintain core client, account, instrument, and agreement data, and oversee data quality in key data platforms.
Complete transactions accurately and on time.
Provide operational support for trade lifecycle activities, including trade processing, settlement, accounting and reconciliation, lifecycle events, and collateral management.
Monitor client trading activity across multiple markets and service client needs.
Complete clearing and settlement of trades with internal and external counterparties, including reconciliation management and governance of trade fails and breaks.
Perform tasks accurately during high-volume periods in a team environment.
Identify and flag potential risks in a timely manner.
Communicate with internal and external stakeholders and escalate issues when appropriate.
