About The Position

W.B. Mason is hiring a full-time Market Development Specialist for outside sales. The role involves traveling through an assigned territory, on foot or by car, to introduce local businesses to W.B. Mason’s workplace products and services. The specialist meets prospective customers, identifies their needs, demonstrates products, presents web tools and custom pricing, and helps new customers get started through MasonvilleGO. The role works closely with inside sales and onboarding teams to transition new accounts and includes regular branch sales meetings.

Requirements

• Experience in customer service, retail sales, or a related area.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivation and ability to work independently.
• Ability to converse, read, and write in English.

Responsibilities

• Travel through an assigned territory on foot or by car to introduce local businesses to W.B. Mason’s products and services.
• Meet prospective clients, uncover their needs, and explain how W.B. Mason’s products and services can support their businesses.
• Demonstrate products and share web tools and custom pricing.
• Help new customers get set up through MasonvilleGO.
• Coordinate with inside sales and onboarding teams to ensure new accounts are smoothly transitioned and supported.
• Attend regular branch sales meetings.
