About The Position

The Market Attendant provides friendly, efficient, and professional service at the Club’s grab-and-go station. The role assists Members and Guests with purchases, processes transactions, restocks food and beverage items, maintains cleanliness, and keeps the market area organized, welcoming, and operating to a high standard. The attendant also supports food and beverage operations as needed and performs additional duties as assigned.

Strong attention to detail and ability to handle transactions accurately.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Regular and predictable on-site attendance.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adjust to changing priorities.
Ability to stand for long periods and lift, carry, push, or pull up to 30 lbs.
Flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and special events as needed.
Demonstrates respect for Hawaiian values, history, and culture, and understands the importance of creating a welcoming experience for the community served.

Nice To Haves

Previous cashier, retail, food service, or hospitality experience.
Experience using a point-of-sale system.
Additional language skills.

Responsibilities

Greet Members, Guests, and team members in a warm and professional manner.
Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system.
Assist with grab-and-go food, beverage, retail, and market purchases.
Stock, organize, and rotate food and beverage items to ensure freshness and proper presentation.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the market, display areas, counters, refrigerators, and storage spaces.
Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to leadership.
Ensure all items are properly labeled, priced, and displayed.
Follow food safety, sanitation, cash handling, and Club service standards.
Answer basic Member and Guest questions or direct them to the appropriate team member.
Assist with opening, closing, and daily shift responsibilities.
Support food and beverage operations as needed.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
