About The Position

The Market Attendant works in the hotel’s lobby café, grab-and-go market, or retail shop, combining food and beverage service with guest retail experiences. This guest-focused role requires hospitality and retail skills. The schedule is five days per week, Monday through Sunday, between 6:30 AM and 12:30 PM. Additional days may be required during the season. Full availability and English proficiency are required; bilingual ability is a plus.

Responsibilities

Prepare coffee, espresso, and specialty drinks; assemble sandwiches, wraps, and other grab-and-go items; and warm ready-to-eat foods.
Operate the point-of-sale system to process credit and debit transactions, handle cash, make change, and process gift cards or certificates.
Keep the market stocked using First In, First Out (FIFO) methods, monitor expiration dates, and maintain adequate merchandise supplies.
Greet guests, answer menu and product questions, assist with purchases, and support high guest satisfaction.
Keep the market and adjacent seating areas clean, organized, and guest-ready.
Demonstrate knowledge of products, styling, and pricing; wrap and pack orders for shipping when required.
