About The Position

This job advertisement is to fill an existing vacancy for Marker-Grader positions in the CUPE4207-1 (Employee Group) for the course "The Science Behind the Developing Child ECEC 3P54". Compensation for these positions is based on the qualifications of the employee, with different hourly rates effective September 1, 2026, for those holding a Master’s Degree Complete ($36.00/hour), Undergraduate Degree Complete ($31.04/hour), Third Year Complete ($22.91/hour), Second Year Complete ($20.15/hour), and First Year Complete ($19.00/hour).

Requirements

• Honours BA, Honours BSc, or BECE
• Previous successful teaching experience at the preschool, elementary, secondary, or postsecondary level
• Background in Early Childhood Education

Responsibilities

• Mark assignments, term projects, case reports, midterms, progress exams, and/or final exams.
• Provide written feedback to students that clearly identifies the basis of the grade assigned, including substantive content, written communications, spelling, punctuation, grammar, and overall structure and organization.
• Potentially invigilate mid-terms and examinations for the course.
• Potentially enter grades into databases, at the request of the course instructor.
