About The Position
This job advertisement is to fill an existing vacancy for Marker-Grader positions in Early Childhood Education (ECEC 3P50) at Brock University. Compensation for these positions is based on the qualifications held by the employee, with different hourly rates effective September 1, 2026, for individuals with a Master’s Degree Complete ($36.00/hour), Undergraduate Degree Complete ($31.04/hour), Third Year Complete ($22.91/hour), Second Year Complete ($20.15/hour), and First Year Complete ($19.00/hour).
Requirements
- Honours BA, Honours BSc, BECE, or Early Childhood Education Diploma
- Previous successful teaching experience at the preschool, elementary, secondary, or postsecondary level
- Successfully completed EDUC 3P50
Responsibilities
- Mark assignments, term projects, case reports, midterms, progress exams, and/or final exams.
- Provide written feedback to students that clearly identifies the basis of the grade assigned, including substantive content, written communications, spelling, punctuation, grammar, and overall structure and organization.
- Potentially invigilate mid-terms and examinations for the course.
- Potentially enter grades into databases, at the request of the course instructor.
