About The Position
This job advertisement is to fill an existing vacancy for Marker-Grader positions in Play, Power, and Culture in Early Childhood Education ECEC 3P60. Marker-Grader positions are paid according to the qualifications that the employee holds. The marker-grader is expected to mark assignments, term projects, case reports, midterms, progress exams, and/or final exams and must be prepared to provide written feedback to students that will clearly identify the basis of the grade assigned; whether it is due to substantive content, or to written communications, including spelling, punctuation, grammar, and overall structure and organization of the submission. The marker-grader may be expected to invigilate mid-terms and examinations for this course, or enter grades into databases, at the request of the course instructor.
Requirements
- Honours BA, Honours BSc, or BECE
- Previous successful teaching experience at the preschool, elementary, secondary, or postsecondary level
- Background in Early Childhood Education
Responsibilities
- Mark assignments, term projects, case reports, midterms, progress exams, and/or final exams.
- Provide written feedback to students that will clearly identify the basis of the grade assigned.
- Invigilate mid-terms and examinations for this course, at the request of the course instructor.
- Enter grades into databases, at the request of the course instructor.
