About The Position
This job advertisement is to fill an existing vacancy for Marker-Grader positions in Literacy in the Early Years ECEC 4P24. Compensation for Marker-Grader positions is paid according to the qualifications the employee holds, with rates effective September 1, 2026. The specific rates are: Master’s Degree Complete ($36.00/hour), Undergraduate Degree Complete ($31.04/hour), Third Year Complete ($22.91/hour), Second Year Complete ($20.15/hour), and First Year Complete ($19.00/hour). These positions are paid according to the Collective Agreement and are subject to course enrollments and budgetary approval. Requirements
- Honours BA, Honours BSc, or BECE
- Previous successful teaching experience at the preschool, elementary, secondary, or postsecondary level
- Successfully completed EDUC 4P24
Responsibilities
- Mark assignments, term projects, case reports, midterms, progress exams, and/or final exams.
- Provide written feedback to students that clearly identifies the basis of the grade assigned, whether due to substantive content, or to written communications, including spelling, punctuation, grammar, and overall structure and organization of the submission.
- May be expected to invigilate mid-terms and examinations for this course, or enter grades into databases, at the request of the course instructor.
