About The Position
Brock University is seeking a Marker-Grader for the ECEC 3P53 course for the Fall D2 S1 term. This position is part of the CUPE4207-1 Employee Group. Compensation for Marker-Grader positions is based on the employee's qualifications, with rates effective September 1, 2026. Requirements
- Honours BA or BECE
- Previous successful teaching experience at the preschool, elementary, secondary, or postsecondary level
- Background in Early Childhood Education
- Evidence of research experience with an early childhood population
Responsibilities
- Mark assignments, term projects, case reports, midterms, progress exams, and/or final exams.
- Provide written feedback to students that clearly identifies the basis of the grade assigned, including substantive content, spelling, punctuation, grammar, and overall structure and organization.
- Potentially invigilate mid-terms and examinations for the course.
- Potentially enter grades into databases, at the request of the course instructor.
