About The Position
This job advertisement is to fill an existing vacancy for a Marker-Grader position within the CUPE4207-1 Employee Group for the course ECEC 3F01 in the Fall/Winter D1 S2 academic terms. Marker-Grader positions are paid according to the qualifications the employee holds, with rates effective September 1, 2026. The specific rates are: Master’s Degree Complete ($36.00/hour), Undergraduate Degree Complete ($31.04/hour), Third Year Complete ($22.91/hour), Second Year Complete ($20.15/hour), and First Year Complete ($19.00/hour).
Requirements
- BA, BSc, or BECE
- Previous successful teaching experience at the preschool, elementary, secondary, or postsecondary level
- Successfully completed EDUC 3F01
Responsibilities
- Mark assignments, term projects, case reports, midterms, progress exams, and/or final exams.
- Provide written feedback to students that clearly identifies the basis of the grade assigned, including substantive content, written communications, spelling, punctuation, grammar, and overall structure and organization.
- Invigilate mid-terms and examinations for this course, at the request of the course instructor.
- Enter grades into databases, at the request of the course instructor.
