About The Position

Brock University is seeking a Marker-Grader for the NUSC 4P50 Applied Nursing Research course for the Fall D2 term. This position is part of the CUPE4207-1 employee group. The role involves marking assignments, term projects, case reports, midterms, progress exams, and/or final exams, and providing written feedback to students. The marker-grader may also be asked to invigilate exams or enter grades into databases. Requirements

  • Current registration as Registered Nurse (RN) with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Successful completion of a BScN
  • Research assistant or equivalent experience or have completed previous research courses

Responsibilities

  • Mark assignments, term projects, case reports, midterms, progress exams, and/or final exams.
  • Provide written feedback to students that clearly identifies the basis of the grade assigned, including substantive content, spelling, punctuation, grammar, and overall structure and organization.
  • Potentially invigilate mid-terms and examinations for the course.
  • Potentially enter grades into databases, at the request of the course instructor.
