About The Position
Brock University is seeking a Marker-Grader for the NUSC 3P11 Nursing Care of the Young Family course for the Fall D2 term. This position is paid according to the qualifications of the employee, with rates effective September 1, 2026. Requirements
- Must have completed first year in nursing (or equivalent in English) and attained a grade of 80% or higher.
- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
- Proven track record of working effectively with deadlines.
Nice To Haves
- Previous Marker/Grader experience is considered an asset.
Responsibilities
- Mark assignments, term projects, case reports, midterms, progress exams, and/or final exams.
- Provide written feedback to students that clearly identifies the basis of the grade assigned, including substantive content, written communications (spelling, punctuation, grammar), and overall structure and organization.
- Potentially invigilate mid-terms and examinations for the course.
- Potentially enter grades into databases, at the request of the course instructor.
