About The Position

This job advertisement is to fill an existing vacancy for a Marker-Grader position in the CUPE4207-1 (Employee Group) for NUSC 3P72 within the Community, Population & Global Health department. Marker-Grader positions are paid according to the qualifications the employee holds, with different hourly rates for Master’s Degree Complete, Undergraduate Degree Complete, Third Year Complete, Second Year Complete, and First Year Complete. The position is subject to course enrollments and budgetary approval. Requirements

Must have completed first year in nursing (or equivalent in English) and attained a grade of 80% or higher.
Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
Proven track record of working effectively with deadlines.

Previous Marker/Grader experience is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

Mark assignments, term projects, case reports, midterms, progress exams, and/or final exams.
Provide written feedback to students that clearly identifies the basis of the grade assigned, including substantive content, written communications, spelling, punctuation, grammar, and overall structure and organization of the submission.
Invigilate mid-terms and examinations for this course, at the request of the course instructor.
Enter grades into databases, at the request of the course instructor.
