About The Position
This job advertisement is to fill an existing vacancy for Marker-Grader positions in NUSC 1P01 Nursing Fundamentals 1 for the Fall D2-1 term. Marker-Grader positions are paid according to the qualifications that the employee holds. The Collective Agreement governs part-time Instructor, Teaching Assistant, Lab Demonstrator, Course Coordinator and Marker-Grader positions at Brock University.
Requirements
- Must have completed first year in nursing (or equivalent in English) and attained a grade of 80% or higher
- Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
- Proven track record of working effectively with deadlines
Nice To Haves
- Previous Marker/Grader experience is considered an asset
Responsibilities
- Mark assignments, term projects, case reports, midterms, progress exams, and/or final exams.
- Provide written feedback to students that will clearly identify the basis of the grade assigned; whether it is due to substantive content, or to written communications, including spelling, punctuation, grammar, and overall structure and organization of the submission.
- May be expected to invigilate mid-terms and examinations for this course, or enter grades into databases, at the request of the course instructor.
