About The Position

Brock University is seeking a Marker Grader for the MPAC 5P01 - Financial Accounting I course for the Fall D2 term. This role involves marking assignments, term projects, case reports, midterms, progress exams, and/or final exams. The marker-grader will provide written feedback to students, clearly identifying the basis of the grade assigned, including substantive content, written communications, spelling, punctuation, grammar, and overall structure. Additionally, the marker-grader may be expected to invigilate mid-terms and examinations or enter grades into databases at the request of the course instructor. Positions are subject to course enrollments and budgetary approval, and due to limited hours, not all positions may move beyond the posting stage. Requirements

Must have completed MPAC 5P01 (or equivalent in English) and attained a grade of 80% or higher.
Graduate of or Major in Accounting with a minimum major average of 75%.
Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
Proven track record of working effectively with deadlines.

Previous Marker/Grader experience is considered an asset.
