About The Position

Torchy’s is hiring a Managing Partner (Restaurant GM) to lead the successful and profitable operations of a restaurant. The role is suited to someone who wants to make a difference in people’s lives, partner in a growing company, and invest in their future and community. The Managing Partner selects, trains, and develops the restaurant team and oversees restaurant operations, staffing, budgets, inventory, and food-safety practices.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a General Manager or above.
• Required state alcohol-server and Manager ServSafe certifications.
• Hands-on experience in all facets of front of house (FOH) and back of house (BOH).
• Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry objects weighing up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to stand for several hours and walk for long periods.
• Ability to bend, stretch, twist, and reach for objects on shelves at various heights.

Responsibilities

• Build strong teams by networking, sourcing, interviewing, and hiring Managers and Team Members.
• Oversee the successful and profitable operations of a restaurant.
• Direct the Management Team, including preparing weekly management schedules and assigning areas of responsibility.
• Plan, prepare, and oversee weekly, monthly, and yearly inventories and budgets.
• Manage weekly and monthly profit and loss (P&L).
• Verify that training standards are maintained.
• Oversee restaurant cleanliness.
• Develop Team Members and Managers, including training them in employment policies and practices.
• Understand, manage, and practice safe food-handling procedures.
• Serve as the primary liaison with store vendors and headquarters contacts.
• Attend weekly and quarterly regional meetings.
