About The Position

Torchy’s is seeking a Managing Partner (Restaurant GM) who wants to make a difference in people’s lives and become a business partner in a growing company. The role is suited to someone passionate about selecting, training, and developing a team, and motivated to invest in their future and create wealth for their family and community. The Managing Partner is responsible for successful and profitable restaurant operations, leading the management team, developing team members, and maintaining restaurant standards.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a General Manager or above.
• Required state alcohol-server certification and Manager ServSafe Certification.
• Hands-on experience in all facets of front of house (FOH) and back of house (BOH).
• Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry objects weighing up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to stand for several hours and walk for long periods.
• Ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach for objects on shelves at various heights.

Nice To Haves

• Full casual dining experience is a plus.
• Previous exposure to a scratch kitchen is a major advantage.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build strong teams by networking, sourcing, interviewing, and hiring managers and team members.
• Oversee successful and profitable restaurant operations.
• Direct the management team, including setting weekly management schedules and assigning managers areas of responsibility.
• Plan, prepare, and oversee weekly, monthly, and yearly inventories and budgets.
• Manage weekly and monthly profit and loss (P&L).
• Verify that training standards are maintained.
• Oversee restaurant cleanliness.
• Consistently develop team members and managers, including training them in employment policies and practices.
• Understand, manage, and practice safe food handling procedures.
• Serve as the primary liaison with store vendors and headquarters contacts.
• Attend weekly and quarterly regional meetings.
