About The Position

Torchy’s is seeking a Managing Partner (Restaurant GM) who wants to make a difference in people’s lives and be a business partner in a growing company. The role is centered on building, training, and developing teams and leading the successful, profitable operation of a restaurant. The Managing Partner works with restaurant managers and team members, oversees restaurant finances and operations, and serves as the primary liaison with store vendors and headquarters contacts.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a General Manager or above.
• Required state alcohol-server and Manager ServSafe certifications.
• Hands-on experience in all facets of front of house (FOH) and back of house (BOH).
• Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry objects weighing up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to stand for several hours and walk for long periods.
• Ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach for objects on shelves at various heights.

Nice To Haves

• Full casual dining experience.
• Previous exposure to a scratch kitchen.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Build strong teams by networking, sourcing, interviewing, and hiring managers and team members.
• Be responsible for successful and profitable restaurant operations.
• Direct the Management Team, including setting weekly management schedules and assigning managers areas of responsibility.
• Plan, prepare, and oversee weekly, monthly, and yearly inventories and budgets.
• Manage weekly and monthly profit and loss (P&L).
• Verify that training standards are maintained.
• Oversee restaurant cleanliness.
• Develop team members and managers, including training them in employment policies and practices.
• Understand, manage, and practice safe food-handling procedures.
• Act as the primary liaison with store vendors and headquarters contacts.
• Attend weekly and quarterly regional meetings.
