About The Position

Fortune Brands Innovations is hiring a Manager, Product Integrity for its Connected Products team. Product Integrity confirms that connected products—including Flo by Moen water devices, Yale and August smart locks, and Master Lock connected padlocks—meet their requirements before reaching customers. The manager leads the team and translates requirements from Product, Systems Architecture, and Compliance into tests with defined methods, sample sizes, and pass/fail criteria. The role also owns 100% end-of-line factory testing, including test fixture design and test software. Fixtures may be developed in-house or with a supplier, depending on complexity. The role calls for a systems architect who can lead a test team and understand how electrical, mechanical, and firmware elements interact. The manager leads test engineers responsible for production and 100% testing, hardware testing, reliability testing, quality inspection, and confirmation of product requirements. The position is eligible for a hybrid work environment in North Olmsted, Ohio, or San Francisco, California. The lab is in North Olmsted; employees based in San Francisco should expect occasional travel there. Travel is approximately 15%, including to factories in Nogales and Tecate, Mexico, Hanoi, Vietnam, and between North Olmsted and San Francisco.

  • Provide evidence packages for each stage gate (EVT, DVT, and PVT), documenting what was tested, against which requirement, and with what result.
  • Define reliability test plans for each program and own the associated statistics, including sample sizes, confidence levels, and acceleration factors for environmental testing.
  • Develop production test fixtures and test software that meet approved cycle times, with test limits tied to expected field performance.
  • Review returns and field data and feed findings back into requirements and test plans.
