About The Position

The Manager, Operations oversees and coordinates product movement and customer service operations, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and applicable laws. The role manages facility budgets, monitors operational procedures, and maintains quality control standards while supervising and developing team members. It involves conducting regular inspections and reporting to support safety, security, and adherence to company and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
• Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Radio Frequency (RF) technology.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Oversee product handling and customer service operations, ensuring procedures and key performance indicators are met.
• Develop annual facility budgets and monitor progress toward departmental goals.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with food safety and occupational safety laws and guidelines.
• Recruit, hire, train, schedule, and appraise staff, and resolve employee issues.
• Maintain procedures for shipment verification, inventory control, and quality standards for perishables.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and Federal, State, and Local OSHA regulations, including safety training and injury reporting.
• Coordinate activities among warehouse, distribution, sales record control, and purchasing departments to ensure merchandise availability and security.
• Perform other essential duties as applicable and assigned.
