About The Position

The Manager of Inpatient Rehab Nursing administers, analyzes, and appraises patient care within the department. The manager advises department leaders on patient-care status, budgetary projections, and quality-improvement processes, and anticipates and estimates future departmental needs to improve the quality of patient care in accordance with the philosophy, goals, objectives, and mission of HCA Florida Capital Hospital. The position offers opportunities to influence patient-care decisions through collaborative relationships with a direct manager, hospital councils, and national nursing initiatives.

Requirements

Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma required.
Current Florida RN license or appropriate compact licensure required; if holding a compact license, an active Florida RN license is required within 90 days of hire.
An Advanced Practice Registered Nurse license is acceptable if current and compliant.
BLS-American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS Provider issued card required.
Acute-care experience required.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
Master’s Degree preferred.
CRRN preferred.
Management experience preferred.
